 Struggling Readers and Complex Text

How might we use complex text when students aren’t proficient at grade level?  Participants will learn how to layer text to support struggling readers and identify how content knowledge and procedural knowledge impact reading proficiency.  Strategies to impact comprehension and to increase the depth of knowledge will provide teachers with WHAT, WHY, and HOW to implement with purpose and impact.
