Kansas Guide to Learning: Literacy (KGLL)
The goal of the Kansas Guide to Learning is to provide improved service to the field in the area of research-based instructional practices in a variety of content areas and create an environment of increased student engagement in the learning process with greater support for teachers in changing instructional practices. The guides for English Language Arts were completed in the fall of 2012.

"The Kansas Guide to Learning: Literacy (KGLL) is a resource for caregivers and educators that provides comprehensive, integrated, and research-based recommendations about the critical elements of curricula and instruction for children birth through grade 12.  In this short video Matt Copeland, former Kansas State Department of Education English Language Arts Consultant, introduces you to the KGLL."
